The concept was to build a music news magazine website targeting a younger demographic.
We built the structure of the images and content based on common ad sizes, such as the three boxes across the bottom (cube ads - 300 pixels wide by 250 pixels tall). We also wanted to play with new marketing/advertising styles, but selling the main rotator and skinning the background when a user clicks to go on to the next photo.
Rather than the usual methods of navigation, we took a different approach. The navigation bar would drop over the content. Instead of sending users to new pages to view photos and videos, we decided to play them directly in the navigation bar.
Created the design and worked on the Information Architecture for a Music News website concept
